How we make our content

Short version: our articles are drafted with the help of AI, built on primary sources, checked by automated quality gates, and approved by our founder, who is accountable for every word. Here is the long version.

How an article gets made

  1. We start with a real question that new moms actually ask, often in the middle of the night.
  2. We research it against primary sources: the American Academy of Pediatrics, the CDC, the NIH, ACOG, Postpartum Support International, and peer-reviewed research. We cite them at the bottom of every article. We do not cite content farms.
  3. We draft with AI assistance. Decarog is a small, AI-native company. We use AI tools to research and draft, and we are open about that. What we publish is not raw AI output: every article passes our quality checks and human review before it goes live.
  4. Automated quality gates check every article for medical-claim boundaries, required sources, honest dates, and required safety information before it can be published.
  5. Our founder approves every article and is personally accountable for what we publish (see About).

Our rules

  • No medical advice. We write about feelings and everyday life with a baby. We do not diagnose, treat, or interpret anyone's health. Where a topic touches health, we say so and point you to your doctor or pediatrician.
  • No fake people. Our byline is Decarog Team. We will never invent an author, a credential, a reviewer, or a testimonial. If a named expert ever reviews our content, they will be a real person with a real contract and a real bio.
  • Honest dates. The published and updated dates on our articles are real. We only mark an article updated when its content substantively changed.
  • Safety first.Articles that touch heavy feelings include crisis resources: the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and Postpartum Support International.
